My 2018 book, The Iowa State Constitution, is available from Oxford University Press and from Amazon, among other outlets. Part One provides an overview of the Iowa Constitution's origins and evolution. Part Two (the bulk of the book) turns to the history and meaning of each of the constitution's provisions. A brief bibliographic essay then introduces readers to the many resources available to those studying the Iowa Constitution. UPDATES: In its published form, the book's account of judicial rulings is current through June 30, 2017. I frequently post updates at this link to take account of new rulings and other developments as they occur. |
